Our History
The founding members of our group began doing pottery together at a pottery school in Louisville, Colorado and formed a strong common commitment to work together and share our love of clay with others. We struck out and formed ClayArt Pottery Group, Inc. and incorporated on August 23, 2010.

Our Membership
Co-op memberships are designed for people with pottery experience who can work independently in a working studio. The studio is open and available 24 hours per day. Membership includes full orientation and access to all of the communal equipment housed in the studio. The studio equipment has been assembled by donation, loan and purchase. The approximately $100 per month membership fee is an individual share of rent, insurance, utilities, and it pays for some of your glazes and for most of your firing.
Members must attend a one hour meeting monthly and volunteer at least 4 hours per month to keep the studio clean and operational. Volunteer jobs may include cleaning, glaze making, kiln loading, website and marketing, purchasing, equipment maintenance and repair, bookkeeping, membership communications, and community service events.
